When I click reply, and type a reply to the thread, it takes me back to the section. I think it should just take you to the end of the thread, not back to the Section.

You can actually set that in your user options. Go to your profile and on the left there is a menu link called
Look and Layout Preferences
. In there you'll find a check box that says
Return to topics after posting by default
. Make sure it's checked. I went ahead and fixed it for everyone else and all new users.
